Stay and Play

Stay and Play at Chapel Street Nursery School runs twice per week by our Family worker, Sarah, and family worker assistant, Louise. 

The sessions follow the curiosity style approach which mirrors that of our main nursery. Children will have opportunity to play and explore real, natural resources in a holistic and open ended way. 

The themes which guide the Stay and Play sessions follow the books being explored in the Nursery 1 class room. 

Parents, grandparents and carers are invited to come along with your children to join one or both of the sessions where you will get valuable time to interact with your child, gain support from the experienced family worker team and meet other parents with children who may be going through similar things to you. 

There is a suggested donation of £1 for each session attended which goes towards the upkeep of the resources and any art materials used.
